®@ The remote control unit and batteries are located behind
the foam packing.

Open the lid of the battery compartment on the rear of the remote
contro! unit, and insert the batteries, taking care to align the (+)
and {—} polarities correctly.
NOTE:
@ inorder to prevent battery leakage, remove the batteries when
not using the remote control unit for an extended period fone
month or morel, in the event of battery leakage, carefully wipe
away any battery fluid inside the compartment, and replace the
batteries with new ones,
® Do not alfow books or other objects to rest on top of the re-
mote control unit, since the buttons may be depressed, caus-
ing faster exhaustion of the batteries.
® /f the operating decrease, the batteries have probably finished.
Replace with. new batteries.
Improper use of batteries can cause dangerous leakage or rupture.
Be sure to observe the fallowing safety points:
® insert batteries with positive (+) and negative {—) polarities
aligned correctly as shown inside the battery compartment.
@ Do not use a new battery together with one which has already
been used.
® Even batteries of the same type may have differing voltages de-
pending on the manufacturer. Do not mix different types of bat-
teries together.
