Cleaning around head
The
recording
and
playback
head
becomes
dirty with
microscopic (1/1000mm) dust.
Clean the erasing,
recording and playback heads, capstan
and
pinch
roller approx.
every
10 hours of use for best
results.
1. Press EJECT to open cassette holder.
2. Clean erasing, recording and playback heads, capstan and
pinch roller with an cotton swab. Wipe with a dry cloth.
Note:
Some parts are precise such as the tape guide. Avoid cat-
ching the cloth or a strong impact.
In case of difficulty
Erasing the magnetism from the head
Otherwise, noise will result when recording and playing. Use
a head eraser sold in stores.
When your unit needs to be repaired, bring the entire
set (speakers excluded) to your dealer.
