11.
Install new battery to a blank cover, and fix it with a screw.
12.
Install a battery pack in a system. Please refer to "1-3. Installing BBU" of "Chapter
2 Installing BBU" in detail.
13.
Connect Battery Backup Unit and Battery Control Cable.
14.
Fix a RAID controller to a PCI slot and connect built-in SAS cable while being
careful so that a cable does not fall out.
15.
Install a center bar, a side cover, a front mask, and power supply cord as before.
16.
To confirm whether the RAID controller is recognized from system after OS
started. In detail, refer to"2-2. Checking by Utility".
・Universal RAID Utility may not able to recognize the battery pack if it is charged
only at the minimum level (or uncharged). If this occurs, charge the battery pack
for 24 hours or more. Then reboot the server and try to recognize the battery pack
again by using Universal RAID Utility.
Notice
・There is a case that a refreshment function works when you use new battery.
When refreshment works, the battery works as White Through. In this case,
confirm a state of the battery about 9 hours later.
The battery pack is recyclable. To inquire about it, contact your service
representative or bring it to the nearest recycle agent.
