Activating Dealer Demo Mode (Excella/LaPerla)

1. Access the service programming mode.
2. Select Dealer, then OK. The display shows the following options:
Demo mode: The program is activated by pressing a button. It runs
through once and must then be restarted.
Endless demo: The program starts directly after switching on and
runs in a continuous loop until it is interrupted.
Demo wash sound: The program activates the pumps in order to
demonstrate the wash noise.
Trade show mode: Once the machine is used for the first time this
option is disabled in the display. (G 2732, G 2832, G 2872 only.)
Demo drying plus: The door is automatically opened in order to
demonstrate the Drying plus function. (G 2832, G 2872 only.)
To deactivate, the Off option is also available.
3. Make the desired setting and confirm with OK.
4. Switch off the appliance.
2.14 Activating/Deactivating the Sensor Softener; Manually Setting
Water Hardness (Excella/LaPerla)
1. Access the service programming mode.
2. Select Water hardness.
3. Setting options:
Automatic = Sensor softener activated.
The on-site water hardness can also be directly selected. Hardness
range: 1°d to 70°d (1.1 grains per gallon to 74.9 grains per gallon).
4. Make the desired setting and confirm with OK.
5. Switch off the appliance.
Note:
If the dishwasher is connected to an external ion exchanger water softener
(i.e. that needs to be reactivated with salt), the sensor softener must be
deactivated and the water hardness must be set manually.
The water hardness provided by the external water softener must be set. If
this value is unknown, 8°d (8.6 grains per gallon) should be set.
This parameter can also be modified by the customer in the Settings menu
under External water softener (see the appropriate operating instructions).
