Canon CT-50 - Timer Clock Manual

• When using this product, please read all the operating instructions, warnings and precautions provided by Canon.

This product is embedded with magnet at the back. Please be careful if implanted electronic devices (such as cardiac pacemaker) nearby, as magnet may cause malfunctions. If this happens, please distance the magnet from the implanted electronic device and consult the doctor at once.

INITIAL SETUP INSTRUCTIONS

• Remove the insulation tape and press button at the back side of the unit before use.
  
• Pressto select the function mode in the following order: Clock → Count-up Timer → Timer → Back to Clock.

TIME SETTING

Example: 3:45PM (24-hours basis 15:45)

1. Go to Clock Mode: Pressto select Clock mode.
   "CLOCK" icon will be shown on the display.
   Press and hold for more than 2 seconds to enter clock setting mode. (The display will flash.)
   
2. Press keys to set the time.

• The time will blink in clock setting mode.
  

3. Press to confirm the time.

• Use to switch between 12 or 24 hour format.
• Press , or no keys are pressed during clock setting mode for 5 seconds, edit will be aborted.

COUNT-UP TIMER

1. Go to Count-up Timer Mode:
   Press to select Count-Up Timer mode.
   "COUNT UP" icon will be shown.
   
2. Press to start the count-up.
   (Timer can count-up to a maximum of 23 hours, 59 minutes, 59 seconds).
3. Press to pause or stop the count-up. To continue the count-up, simply pressonce.
4. To reset the count-up timer, press right after the count-up timer is stopped.

TIMER

1. Go to Timer Mode: Press to select Timer mode.
   "TIMER" icon will be shown. Press keys to enter edit mode. The display will flash.
2. Press keys to set the timer.
   (up to a maximum of 23 hours, 59 minutes and 59 seconds)
3. Press to confirm, press again to start the timer.
4. To reset the timer, make sure the running time is stopped by pressing once, then pressto resume last timer. Press again to set new timer.

• When timer reaches 0:00:00, the alarm will ring for about 1 minute, the time will blink and start to count up.
• Press, or no keys are pressed during timer setting mode for 5 seconds, edit will be aborted.

BATTERY REPLACEMENT

• When the alarm sound becomes weak or the display becomes dim, follow below steps and change to a new battery. Be sure to install new battery with "+" side facing up.
  
• After replacing the battery, use the tip of a ball point pen (or similar sharp object) to press the [RESET] button. Then, set the time again.

BATTERY CAUTION

• Keep the battery out of the reach of children. If the battery is swallowed, contact a doctor immediately.
• Never expose the battery to high temperatures, direct heat, or dispose by incineration.
• Never leave a dead battery in the timer as the dead battery may leak and cause damage to the timer.
• If a battery leaks, remove the battery, be careful to keep the leaked fluid from touching your skin or clothes. If fluid from the battery comes into contact with skin or clothes, rinse skin with water immediately.

TIPS

• Press and hold key for 2 seconds in any mode to turn the key-touch sound ON or OFF. will appear when key-touch sound is OFF.
• The alarm sound will continue for about 1 minute unless the key is pressed.
• When count-up timer / timer is started and then switch to other mode, the mode icon ("TIMER" / "COUNT UP") will blink continuously.
