Initial Operation

Caution! Risk of injury from
rotating blades. Carry out work
on the equipment only when the
blade is switched off and sta-
tionary.
Observe the Briggs & Stratton in-
struction manual supplied.
Before starting the equipment, you must
-
Remove the Protective Caps
-
Install the handle bar
-
Install the grass collection box
-
Install the starter cord
-
Fill with engine oil
-
Fill with petrol
-
adjust cutting height if required

Installing the Handle Bar

Caution! When installing
the handle bar, ensure that
the Bowden cables are not
squashed.
1. There is a drill hole located on
the lower end of the handle bar
which is tightened using the cor-
responding bolts in the holder
on the device. This creates the
lower pivot point used to adjust
the tilt angle.
2. Fasten the lower handle bar (4)
using the bar fastening screws
and wing nuts.
You can determine the desired
tilt by selecting one of the two
possible screw positions.

3. Unfold upper handlebar (1)
and push locking lever (20)

4. Fix the Bowden cables to the
bar using the cable clamp (5)
Install/empty grass catchment
basket
Caution: Do not operate the
equipment with the grass col-
lection box or impact protection
installed incompletely. Risk of
injury!
Assemble grass catchment
basket (19):
1. Pull plastic loops (26) over bas-
ket rods (25).
Fixing the Grass Collection
Box onto the Equipment:
2. Lift up shock protection (6).
3. Hook the grass collection box
(19) into the mounting provided
for this (27) on the rear of the
equipment.
4. Release the impact protection
(6). It holds the grass collection
box in position.
Dismantling/Empty out the
Grass Collection Box:
5. Lift the impact protection (6) and
remove the grass collection box
(19)
6. Empty catchment basket (see
chapter „Disposal / Environmen-
tal Protection") and re-install it.
