Removal and Replacement of Parts

On Refrigerator

Light Switch

Magnet-sensing switches are located below the hinge cover of
both the left and the right doors of the refrigerator.
1.
Remove the screws of the door hinge cover using a Phillips-
head screwdriver and open the hinge cover, as shown in
Figure 25.
2.
Disconnect the wire connector of the switch.
3.
Open the snaps to remove the switch.

Ambient Temperature and Humidity Sensor

Ambient temperature and humidity sensor is located below the
hinge cover of the left door of the refrigerator.
1.
Remove the screws of the door hinge cover using a Phillips-
head screwdriver and open the hinge cover, as shown in
Figure 26.
2.
Disconnect the wire connector of the sensor.
3.
Open the snaps to remove the sensor.

Display Control Panel

1.
Place a suction cup on the display panel. See Figure 27.
2.
Hold the suction cup and pull the display board out.
3.
Open the snaps to separate the control board and the
display panel.
4.
Disconnect the wire connector.

Main Control Panel

Main control board is installed on the rear side of the refrigerator.
1.
Remove the 2 screws on the panel cover using a Phillips-
head screwdriver, as shown in Figure 28, and remove the
cover.
2.
Disconnect all the wires from the main control panel.
3.
Remove the screws on the main control panel using a
Phillips-head screwdriver.
4.
Take the board out.
