The S S t t a a r r t t button simultaneously closes the ventilation valve, opens
the backing valve (prevents leakage from the backing system when
the pump is off) and starts the rough pump and the two turbo-pumps.
The S S t t o o p p button turns off the pumps and closes the backing valve.

Displays the same information as the bar on the vacuum section of
the Hardware Setup page.
C C o o l l u u m m n n
Displays the current pressure in millibars inside the column unit, the
speed of the column turbo pump and the current (amps) used by the
column turbo pump.

Displays the current pressure in millibars in the chamber, the speed
of the chamber turbo pump and the current (amps) used by the
chamber turbo pump.
