PERIODIC MAINTENANCE

Safety is an obligation of the owner. Periodic inspection, adjustment and lubrication will keep
your machine in the safest and most efficient condition possible. The most important points
of machine inspection, adjustment, and lubrication are explained on the following pages.
WARNING
If you are not familiar with maintenance work, have a Yamaha dealer do it for you.

CHECK BEFORE USE

The customer needs to perform the routine inspection (see page 23). If any problems are dis-
covered during the inspection, contact a Yamaha dealer and request an inspection or main-
tenance.

PERIODIC INSPECTION

Yamaha dealers perform periodic inspections when requested by the customer.
The customer is responsible for contacting their Yamaha dealer to request a periodic inspec-
tion.
Initial inspection ...................When one month has passed from the date of purchase
Storage inspection ...............Every 6 months
Inspection before season ....Every 12 months
