    Quick Start Is the monitor Is the computer a a MultiSync ® Macintosh ™ computer? monitor? Call NEC at (800) 820-1230 to receive your MultiSync XV Macintosh cable adapter. Attach the Mac adapter to the monitor connector on the Macintosh.
  • Page 6 To attach the MultiSync XV monitor to your system, follow these instructions: 1. Turn off the power to your computer and MultiSync monitor. 2. If necessary, install the display card. For more information, refer to the display card manual. 3. For the PC: Connect the MultiSync XV cable to the display card’s connector on the computer.

    3. Check the pin assignment and signal timing charts of the display card and make sure the monitor accepts these pin assignments and signal timings. 4. Connect the signal cable supplied with your display card to the monitor. 5. Connect one end of the power cable to the MultiSync XV the other end to the power outlet.

    Controls ™ Controls Menu Main Menu OSM controls main menu of icons gives you an overview of the selection of controls available. When OSM controls are activated, icons are displayed at the top of the menu. If an arrow button is displayed, ( ), it indicates further choices are available.
