Pull out the outer rail (sliding rail for rack side), put the server on 19-inch rack while aligning the inner rail (sliding rail for server side) with the outer rail. CAUTION Note sufficiently that your fingers may not be caught between a rail and another mechanical part when pressing the release lever.

Step 4: Connect cables to the server. Connect cables to the rear of the server. IMPORTANT: Connect cables according to the User's Guide of the server. Route the cables which are connected to the server with the cable ties that come with the server.

Basic Operations INSTALLATION / REMOVAL OF ARM STOPPER When you are going to connect or disconnect cables at the rear side of the server or replace the power unit, you need to remove the arm stopper and rotate the cable arm toward the rear side of the server.
