Before operating the unit, please read this manual thoroughly and retain it for future reference.

Overview

The ECM-V1BMP/X7BMP Electret Condenser Microphone connects to transmitters equipped with a ø3.5 mm locking type, 3-pole mini jack.

Connection

  1. Connect the microphone to the input connector of the transmitter.
  2. Turn the lock ring to lock the connector.

Notes on Use

  • Microphones are delicate. Do not drop, hit, or subject it to excessive shock.
  • Avoid extended usage or storage in high humidity or temperatures above 55°C (131°F).
  • If acoustic feedback occurs during use (a howling sound is heard from the speakers), point the microphone away from the speakers or increase the distance between the microphone and the speakers.
  • After use, disconnect the microphone cable from the transmitter.
  • If used in a humid location or excess liquid, such as sweat, comes into direct contact with the microphone head, sound may not be output or other malfunction may occur.
  • Always attach the wind screen before use. If the wind screen is not attached, breathing noises and other noise will be picked up by the microphone head.
  • When this unit is connected to a device other than a UWP-series transmitter, sound may not be output or the phase may be reversed.
