    6. Disassembly and Assembly 6-1. Disassembly and Attachment of Upper and Lower Case 1) Remove the main batteries (SUM3 alkaline batteries x 2) and lithium battery (CR2032 x 1). (Refer to the "Instruction Manual" for the removal procedure.) 2) Remove the five flat screws (2 x 5 Ni) (A in diagram at right).

Attachment and Removal of P690-SUB Board 1) Remove the two flat screws (2 x 3.5) and raise up the P690-SUB board. 2) Disconnect the FFC joiner of the P690-SUB board from the connector. First, slide the connector opening with a tweezers or similar tool and then pull out the joiner after loosening the opening.
  • Page 14 3) Attachment is performed by following the reverse procedure of removal. Insert the FFC joiner into the space below the laser module while making sure it does become pinched between the upper case and lower case. * Do not touch the screw adjustment above the laser module! 6-4.
