  • Page 3 Chapter 1 - Introduction 1.1 Welcome Thank you for purchasing this gbSoundlab product. We advise you to take the time to read this manual in order to achieve the best performance from TubeMU. 1.2 Product description TubeMU, It is a vintage compressor, which emulates the density and RMS generated in this type of device.
  • Page 4 Chapter 2 - Controls 2.1 – INPUT / OUTPUT / PRESETS INPUT: it works by amplifying the signal like any other input control, but also increasing the signal in the side chain, and therefore generating compression. Many lacked "Threshold" running compression as is the case with TubeMU. For this reason, any increase or decrease in "INPUT"...
  • Page 5 2.2 – RATIO / SIDE FREQ / VUMETER RATIO: s its function is similar to that of the other compressors, but with the variant that “Variable Mu” produces variations within the same ratio, and is dependent on the input signal. Hence its stability, apart from being feedback compression and its linearity in the sound maintenance produced.
  • Page 6 2.3 – DRY / WET We can get a mix of the two, or just “Wet” as the compressor output level. Both Dry and Wet are protected by "LIMIT". In this way we can mix the two channels without worrying about the small peaks that appear due to the sum. TubeMU | User's Guide...
