Notes:
1.
The 6 lite rear lite box can be used on both the Vortox and Donalson 15" air cleaner assemblies. The 8 lite rear
lite box can only be used on Vortox 15" air cleaner assemblies.
2.
The M3 lite bezel can only be mounted in a vertical orientation to avoid interference with the door hinge.
3.
Wire harness 00313621 - "Y" harness - allows the user to connect both front and rear lite boxes to the same
power source utilizing Packard plugs (sold separately).
INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS:
1.
Locate and loosen the two bolts that attach the air cleaner straps to the mounting bracket. The straps only need
to be loosened far enough to allow a material thickness to slide behind them.
2.
The two lites opposite the mounting slots must be removed to access the mounting bolts. With the two lites
opposite the mounting slots hanging out of their respective holes by their wire leads, tuck and secure all excess
wiring behind the lite box being careful not to pinch to kink any wiring.
Align the slots on the lite box with the two loosened bolts and slide the lite box down from the top between the

mounting bracket and the air cleaner strap.
4.
Securely tighten two mounting bolts through two unattached lite holes.
5.
Attach remaining lites with provided hardware. If applicable, attach bezel in proper orientation.
6.
If truck is equipped with factory Packard plug, connect harness to complete the installation. If truck is not
equipped with Packard plugs proceed with steps 7-10.
Remove Packard plug from air cleaner lite box, connect the ground (white) wire to a solid chassis ground (some

additional wire may be required)
8.
Connect the positive (black) wire to a minimum 15-amp, 12-volt, switched circuit (some additional wire may be
required). If lites are tied into another system, that circuit should accommodate the entire load.
9.
Repeat all applicable steps for the other side.
10.
Parts may be cleaned with a general-purpose glass type cleaner applied with a non-abrasive cloth.
