With the push of a button, you can record from the beginning of the
currently playing track. This is convenient when you want to

6 CDNMD for fast recording
Press the HIGH (HIGH SPEED REC on the main
unit) button. Recording will begin after returning to
the beginning of the track being played. For pre-
recorded MDs, it will be recorded after the part that
has already been recorded. The MD will automatically
stop when recording is finished, but the CD will
continue to play. No sound is output from the
speakers or headphones during high-speed recording.
To record at normal speed while listening
to music
In step 6 above, perform steps 1 to 3 of "To record at
normal speed while listening to music " (page 32) .
Recording will begin after returning to the beginning of the
track being played.
If "CD > MD" is displayed, the
remaining time for MD recording is
insufficient. If you don't mind being able to
record the track being played to the end ,
press the YES•ENTER/MENU button . To
stop recording, press the NO•CANCEL

Note
Grouping is not possible during REC IT
recording even if "Group recording on" is selected
in the menu operation (page 68). Also, see
"Notes" and "Tips" on pages 33 and 34.
