QUICK SETUP GUIDE
Perform the following steps to quickly setup the new Hitachi
Plasma Television Set.

1. ANTENNA CONNECTION

Unless your Plasma Television is connected to a cable TV
system or to a centralized antenna system, a good outdoor
color TV antenna is recommended for best performance.
However, if you are located in an exceptionally good sig-
nal area that is free from interference and multiple image
ghosts, an indoor antenna may be suffi cient.
a). VHF (75-Ohm) antenna/CATV (Cable TV)
When using a 75-Ohm coaxial cable system, connect CATV
coaxial cable to the AIR/CABLE (75-Ohm) terminal. Or if
you have an antenna, connect the coaxial cable to the same
AIR/CABLE terminal.
