Retain these instructions for future reference. Failure to follow instructions and codes will
void warranty, damage fixture and could result in injury.
SAFETY WARNING:
Always turn fixture off, disconnect power and allow it to cool before performing any
maintenance, including relamping and cleaning. Failure to do so may result in severe
injury or death.
CAUTION:
1. The housing should not be installed in insulating materials such as bark, vermiculite, etc. for the full depth
of the housing. Surface use of these materials around BUT NOT ON TOP of the fixture is acceptable.
2. IMPORTANT: To prevent overheating, regularly check lens, keep it clean and free of debris such as dirt,
sand, leaves, mulch, etc.
3. The fixture should not be installed in low lying areas or where water may accumulate and stand for long
periods of time.
4. Do not install fixture within 10 feet (3.05 meters) of a pool, spa or fountain.
5. Use only with low voltage landscape lighting power supplies that are rated for a maximum of 25 amps, 15
volts per circuit.
This fixture is intended for installation in accordance with the National Electrical Code and local code
specifications. Failure to adhere to these codes and instructions may result in serious injury and/or damage
to the ballast and void the warranty. These instructions do not purport to cover all details or variations in
equipment, nor to provide for every possible contingency related to installation, operation, maintenance,
or mounting situation. Should specific problems occur that are not addressed by these instructions, contact
your Sales Representative or distributor for assistance. Retain these instructions for future reference.

  • Page 2 INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS 1. Thread fixture onto ground mounted stake or box (not supplied). 2. Loosen shroud screw (see illustration above) and remove shroud. 3. Insert MR16 lamp (50 W MAX.) (not supplied) into socket. 4. Replace shroud, rotate to desired position, and tighten screw. 5.
  • Page 3 LOW VOLTAGE CABLE CONNECTOR INSTRUCTIONS Low voltage cable connector to be used with 10 or 12 gauge supply cable and 18 gauge fixture cable. Hadco recommends using SPT-3 water resistant (marked "WA", "W" or similar marking) supply cable such as our SCW500-10 or our SCW100-12.
