Installing and removing an M.2 module

LIFEBOOK U727 and LIFEBOOK U747 are equipped with a compartment for a M.2
module. In LIFEBOOK U757, you can either install a M.2 module (with a corresponding
M.2 adapter) or a standard hard disk drive (HDD, without the M.2 adapter), see

Removing a cover

► Remove the screws (1).
Keep the screws in a safe place. If you are removing more than one component at
the same time, store the screws for the individual components separately from each
other. If you install the wrong screws, components may be damaged.
The screws are not all the same length and when the cover is installed,
the correct screws must be used.
► Lift the cover off the notebook (2).
