Recording Movie Images and Audio

To record a movie

1.
Configure the quality setting for the movie (page 68).
The length of the movie you can record will depend on the quality setting you
select.
2.
In the REC mode, press [BS].
3.
Use [8], [2], [4], and [6] to select the »
(Movie) scene and then press [SET].
This causes » to appear on the monitor screen.
4.
Press the shutter button.
This will start recording and display Y on the
monitor screen.
Movie recording includes monaural audio.
5.
Press
the shutter button

• Each movie can be up to 10 minutes long.
Movie recording stops automatically after 10 minutes of recording. Movie
recording also will stop automatically if memory becomes full before you stop
movie recording by pressing the shutter button.
