Messages in the status bar
At the top of the screen you will find the so‐called status bar.
It displays time, battery level and much more information,
e.g. Information about new messages and other messages
from the system or apps. The status bar can be swiped down
and swung out. This gives you a detailed overview of all
messages and messages, and allows you to control some
functions of the phone.
The user account
To make good use of the system, you must have a Google
user account. When you switch on for the first time, a
settings assistant will be started in which you can choose
this option. Later, you can also set Google as follows:
1. Open the apps by sliding the arrow up on the main screen.
2. Touch Settings (gearwheel pictogram)..
3. Select Accounts from the list, continue adding an account
4. Follow the instructions on the screen.
