Remove all items from the packaging. Retain the packaging. If you dispose
of it please do so according to any local regulations.

Operating Your Remote Control

1. Press and slide the back cover to open the battery compartment of the
remote control.
2. Insert two AAA size batteries (not included). Make sure the (+) and (–)
ends of the batteries match the (+) and (–) ends indicated in the
battery compartment.
3. Close the battery compartment cover.

1. Attach the speaker covers onto the speakers.

2. Connect the speaker cables at the back of the speakers to the
SPEAKER (L/R) Sockets at the rear of the unit.

Basic Operation

Powering ON/OFF
When you rst connect the unit to the mains socket, switch ON/OFF at the
rear of the unit to the ON position. The unit will scan for the current time
then go to STANDBY mode.
• Tap on the unit or press the button on the remote control to switch
the unit on.
• Tap on the unit or press the button on the remote control to switch
the unit back to STANDBY mode. The icon will illuminate red.
• To switch the unit o completely, switch ON/OFF to the OFF position or
unplug the mains plug from the mains socket.

Connecting to the Mains Supply

1. This unit is designed to operate with an AC power supply.
2. Connecting the unit to any other power source may cause damage to
the unit. Unwind the mains cable to its full length. Connect the mains
plug to a mains socket. Make sure the mains plug is fully inserted into
the mains socket. The unit is now connected and ready to use.
3. To switch the unit o completely, switch ON/OFF to the OFF position or
unplug the mains plug from the mains socket.
Ensure all connections are connected before connecting to
the mains power socket.
Selecting Modes
Press(tap) MODE repeatedly to switch between DAB, FM, CD, USB,
CARD, BT LINK and AUX modes.

Adjusting the Volume
• Turn the VOLUME +/– dial on the unit or press VOLUME +/– on the
remote control to adjust the volume.
• If you wish to turn the sound o , press MUTE on the remote control.
Press MUTE again or press VOLUME +/– on the remote control or turn
VOLUME +/– to resume normal listening.
