Customizing your VAIO computer
Selecting display modes
This desktop uses the nVIDIA GeForce2 Ti video controller. You can select which display is used when the
computer is connected to an external display.
Make sure your desktop is shut down before you connect the external display to your desktop. If you connect
the external display when your desktop is active, you will not be able to select an external display.
To select a display, proceed as follows:

Click the Start button, and then click Control Panel.
The Control Panel appears.

Double-click Display.
The Display Properties dialog box appears.

Click the Settings tab.

Click the Advanced button.
The GeForce2Ti Properties dialog box appears.

Click the Monitor tab.

Click the Change button.
The Select Device window appears.

Select the manufacturer and the model of the external display.

Click Finish.
The GeForce2Ti Properties dialog box appears again.

Click the Monitor tab.

Click the Change button.
The Update Device Driver Wizard appears.

Select the Automatic search for a better driver (recommended) option button.

Click Next.
