The gateway is programmed to recognize some of these applications and to work correctly with them, but some applications do not function well.     Wireless Cable Voice Gateway CG3700EMR-1CMNDS Address Reservation When you specify a reserved IP address for a computer on the LAN, that computer always receives the same IP address each time it accesses the DHCP server of the gateway. Assign reserved IP addresses to computers or servers that require permanent IP settings.

The ideal password contains no dictionary words from any language and contains uppercase and lowercase letters, numbers, and symbols.

For greater security, enter a custom port number for the remote web management interface. Choose a number from 1024 to 65535, but do not use the number of any common service port.
