SSID or the optionally entered "any" SSID) and is configured as
either not using WEP encryption (the PC Card's default) or
configured to use the same WEP encryption keys. In cases where
there are multiple Access Points, or the Access Point that your PC
Card has associated with automatically does not have access to the
network resource that you need, you may need to manually associate
your PC Card with an Access Point.
From the NICInfo menu left-click on Known APs. The Known APs
screen will appear as shown below.
This screen displays the Access Point that the PC Card is currently
associated with along with all of the Access Points that the PC Card
can currently detect. Click on the Refresh button to re-scan the
network, if necessary.
The currently associated Access Point is indicated by red "radio
waves" around the antenna of the AP icon in the MU's Known
Access Points field.

Advertisement
