Installation Map The diagram shown below illustrates a typical installation of this kit. Please follow the instructions shown on the following page to install your kit successfully. -
Page 3: Broadband Internet Connection
Installing the DI-614+ Section 3 of this Installation Guide will walk you through the installa- tion and configuration of the DI-614+ as a Wireless Router to allow you to access other 802.11b networked computers and the Internet. You must have at least the following to configure the DI-614+: - Internet Explorer 6.x or later... - Page 4 Installing the DWL-650+ Turn on the computer D-Link AirPlus DWL-650+ Driver CD in the CD-ROM drive. To Your Network First, connect the power adapter to the receptor at the back panel of the DI-614+ and then plug the other end of the power adapter to a wall outlet or power strip. The Power LED will turn ON to indicate proper operation. 1. - Page 9 Your Installation is Complete! After you’ve continued in Windows XP (or after the computer restarts in the other Windows operating systems), the D-Link AirPlus DWL- 650+ Configuration Utility will automatically start and the utility icon will appear in the bottom right hand corner of the desktop screen (systray).
