Omschrijving
Dit hulpmiddel is gemaakt van hoogwaardige
materialen. We adviseren u dit hulpmiddel te
laten aanmeten door een zorgprofessional.
Mocht u op enig moment pijn ondervinden of
mocht uw situatie verslechteren, verwijder het
hulpmiddel dan direct en raadpleeg uw therapeut/zorgprofessional. Dit hulpmiddel biedt postoperatieve immobilisatie
of gecontroleerd bewegingsbereik voor de elleboog. Dit stevige, verstelbare hulpmiddel biedt een conservatieve
behandeling van dislocatie of luxatie van de elleboog en kan ook ondersteuning bieden bij stabiele of intern gefixeerde
fracturen van de distale humerus, proximale radius of ulna. Het bewegingsbereik kan beperkt worden door de instelling
van de enkelvoudige scharnieren aan te passen.
Pasinstructies
A) Zoek het scharnierpunt boven de humerale epicondylus lateralis (buitenzijde elleboog).
B) Druk, om de lengte aan te passen, op de knop op de distale manchetten en trek de manchet weg van het
ellebooggewricht tot deze de gewenste lengte heeft bereikt om trekkracht naar het ellebooggewricht te
verminderen. Het onderste gedeelte (ulnazijde van de arm) moet reiken tot aan de processus styloideus
(de bobbel aan de mediale zijde van de pols). Het bovenste gedeelte (humerale zijde van de arm) moet reiken
tot de meest comfortabele plaats bij de axilla (oksel).
C) U kunt de manchetten buigen zodat deze beter aansluiten op de armomtrek. Begin met de manchetten die zich
proximaal ten opzichte van de elleboog bevinden.
D) Om het bewegingsbereik aan te passen, drukt u op de flexie- of extensieknop en draait u totdat het gewenste
aantal graden flexie of extensie verschijnt in het betreffende venster. De brace biedt een volledig bewegingsbereik
van 0 tot 120 graden.
Schoonmaken en onderhoud
Was het hulpmiddel met de hand in warm water met vloeibare milde zeep en laat het aan de lucht drogen.
NIET IN DE WASMACHINE OF WASDROGER STOPPEN.
TREK BANDEN NOOIT TE STRAK AAN.
Dit hulpmiddel dient altijd prettig aan te voelen. VERWIJDER HET VOORDAT U GAAT SLAPEN.

ROM Elbow Brace
Description
This support provides post operative immobilisation or ROM control for the elbow. Providing a conservative
treatment of elbow dislocation or luxation, this sturdy and adjustable support can also support stable or
internally fixed fractures of the distal humerous, proximal radius or ulna. ROM can be limited by adjusting the
simple hinges.
This support is manufactured from high quality materials and we recommend that a medical professional fits
the support for you. If at any time you experience discomfort or your condition worsens, remove the support
immediately and consult your therapist/medical professional.
Fitting Instructions
A) Locate the hinge pivot centre over the lateral
humeral epicondyle (outer elbow).
B) To adjust length, press the button on the
distal cuffs and pull the cuff away from the
elbow joint to the desired length, to decrease
pull towards elbow joint. The lower extension
(ulna side of arm) should extend up to the
styloid process (the bump on the medial side
of the wrist). The upper extension (humeral
side of arm) should extend up to the most
comfortable position at the axilla or arm pit
C) Bend the cuffs to securely wrap around the
circumference of the arm. Start with the cuffs
proximal to the elbow.
D) To adjust range of motion, press the flexion or
extension button and rotate until the desired
degree of flexion or extension shows through
the corresponding window. Brace provides full
range of motion from 0 to 120 degrees.
Cleaning and Care
Hand wash in warm water with liquid mild soap
and leave to dry naturally.
DO NOT MACHINE WASH OR TUMBLE DRY
NEVER OVER TIGHTEN STRAPS.
This support should feel comfortable at all times.
REMOVE BEFORE GOING TO SLEEP .
