EXTERNAL COMPONENT OPERATIONS

* This MP3 INPUT is not compatible with digital signals.

Playing external components

For KD-SH909:
You can connect two external components to this
unit.
Connect one to the MP3 INPUT jack on the
control panel, and the other to the LINE IN plugs
on the rear.
• To use the external component connected to
LINE IN plugs on the rear, set "LINE IN" to
"ON" (see page 33).
• To use the external component connected to
the MP3 INPUT jack on the control panel, set
"AUX IN" to "ON" (see page 34).
You can connect a JVC DVD player or VCR
to the LINE IN plugs.
You can operate a JVC DVD player or VCR
through this receiver using the number
buttons on the control panel.
When you operate the VCR, you have to
change the operation mode of the number
buttons from the DVD operation mode to the
VCR operation mode. (See "To select the
target component to operate through this
receiver – KEY SEL" on page 34.)
