5 Remove the battery out of the battery compartment.

Align the replacement battery in the battery compartment.

7 Lower the battery and press down until it snaps into place.
Press down on the battery latch.

9 Press the Power button to turn on the MC40.

There are four reset functions:
• Soft Reset
• Hard Reset
• Enterprise Reset
• Factory Reset.

1.3.1 Performing a Soft Reset

Perform a soft reset if applications stop responding.
