Caution:
Dock your iPod straight on the docking
station. Do not twist or tilt the iPod when
connecting to the docking station. This can
damage adaptor or iPod.
5. The iPod turns on automatically. Start music
playback as usual. Depending on compatibil-
ity, you can operate your iPod via the supplied
remote control. Not all functions are available
on the remote control.
Note:
The line output level of the docking station is
not adjustable. Volume and sound control via
the iPod menu.
6. Set the volume level as usual on your hi-fi
system.
iPod Video Playback
(iPod not included)
Follow these steps to connect your iPod and
playback video files via TV set:
1. Connect the three RCA connectors to the cor-
responding inputs of your TV set. Observe the
instructions in the user manual of your TV set.
. Connect the other end of the RCA cable to the
VIDEO OUT/AUDIO OUT outputs (6/5) on the
rear of the docking station.
3. Select the correct iPod adaptor or use the
adaptor supplied with your iPod for correct
docking and to avoid damages.
4. Carefully insert the iPod in the iPod dock (3).

you can operate your iPod via the supplied

Ensure that the video output of your iPod is
activated. Find details in the user manual of
your iPod.

Due to the missing video signal during music
playback, modern TV sets mute the sound.
For this reason, music playback via TV set is
not possible. For music playback, follow the
instructions in chapter "iPod Music Play-
back".
Remote Control Buttons

Pause and start playback. In pause mode,
press again to resume playback.

Press and hold for seconds to turn your iPod
off.
i-REPEAT (2)
Activate repeat mode.
i-SHUFFLE (3)
Activate random playback mode.
i-MENU (4)
Press to access iPod menu and/or return to previ-
ous menu.
i-ENTER (5)
Press to activate a function and/or to access the
next menu.
▲/▼ i-SCROLL (6)
Press to scroll the iPod menu up/down.

to skip to the next track.

Press and hold to search forward through the
track.

Press once =
Return to the beginning of
the current track.
Press twice =
Skip to the previous track.
Press three times = Skip another track back.
Press and hold to search
through the track in reverse.
Cleaning
•
Disconnect from mains power supply before
cleaning.
•
Clean the device with a damp cloth without any
cleaning agents.
•
Do not submerge the device in water.
