5. Push down the cylinder on the piston and let the
piston ring compressor move along the piston.
Tighten the screws crosswise to a torque of 10–11
lbf·ft/14–15 Nm.

6.12 Crankcase

6.12.1 To examine the crankcase for leaks
1. Turn the crankshaft until the exhaust port is fully
open. The piston must be at its bottom point.
2. Put the sealing plug in the space for the
decompression valve. Refer to
overview on page 10 .
3. At the exhaust port, attach the exhaust port seal on
the cylinder at the position for the muffler.
4. Remove the plate (A) in the inlet duct.
