Programming favourite tracks
This function allows you to programme a selection of your favourite audio tracks from an Audio CD or
your favourite chapters from a DVD into the memory.
When the Program function is active only the programmed audio tracks or DVD chapters will be played.

using the cursor left/right up/down.

This function allows you to lock/unlock the DVD
player.

Play authorisation
When the Disc Lock function is switched on in the
Setup, Access Control menu, you will be asked to
enter your code to authorise the playing of the
DVD or Video-CD.

Move the cursor up/down to select a track, a
title or a roll.
Press the cursor right to open an overview of
chapters or pictures.
Move the cursor up/down to select a chapter
or picture.

Repeat steps
and
for each favourite
track, chapter or picture you wish to program.
If you wish you can repeat the same track,
chapter or picture several times.You have a
maximum of 20 favourites per disc.
Press the
PLAYER SETUP
key to exit the
menu.The favourite tracks will begin playing
automatically.
Press the cursor down to select
Disc Lock
and
switch the Lock
On
or
Off
with the cursor
right.
Press the
key to exit the
PLAYER SETUP
menu.
The player can memorise a list of 120 child safe
discs. When the list is full and a new disc is
added, the last disc in the list is removed.
Double sided DVDs and Video-CDs with
multiple volumes may include a different
identification for each side or volume. In this
case you will have to authorise each side or
volume separately.
Insert a disc. Playback starts automatically.
When the
symbol appears on screen, press
the ‡ key.The
symbol appears and the disc
is now deauthorised.

Connect Peripheral Equipment

There is a wide range of audio and video equipment that can be connected to your TV.
The following connection diagrams show you how to connect them.

It is preferred to connect peripherals with RGB output to

If your recorder is provided with the EasyLink function, it should be connected to
EasyLink functionality.
Recorder

Connect the aerial cables 1, 2 and, to obtain the optimum
picture quality, eurocable 3 as shown.

If your recorder does not have a euroconnector, the only possible

connection is via the aerial cable.You will therefore need to tune in
