TROUBLESHOOTING GUIDE

WHAT TO DO
Plug in saw.
Replace fuse or reset circuit breaker.
Have cord replaced by an authorized service agent.
Have brushes replaced by an authorized service agent or
replace them yourself. Refer to Brushes.
Replace blade. Refer to Changing or Installing New Blade.
Turn blade around. Refer to Changing or Installing New
Blade.
Remove blade and clean with turpentine and coarse steel
wool or household oven cleaner.
Change the blade type. Cutting wood use wood blade,
cutting aluminum use aluminum blade.
Replace with adequate size cord.
Contact your electric company.
Tighten all mounting hardware. Refer to Bench Mounting.
Reposition on flat level surface.
Replace blade. Refer to Changing or Installing New Blade.
Check and adjust. Refer to Adjustments.
Check and adjust. Refer to Adjustments.
Use the vertical or horizontal clamp to clamp workpiece
securely.
Refer to Bowed Material under Special Cuts.
