Verifying the Picture
If you have received the command
Shot by the Local
"MCV" from other terminal, or you

have manually selected the picture to
be broadcast, the command "MCV" is

Press the FAR/NEAR button on the
Remote Commander. The local picture
is displayed only on your screen.
To return to the VOICE
ACTIVATE mode
Press the FAR/NEAR button on the
Remote Commander again.
Receiving the
Broadcast Request
When you receive the command
"MCV*" from the connected terminal,
the picture of that terminal is
automatically broadcast. If the
meeting is held in VOICE
ACTIVATE mode, the mode is
canceled, and the picture is broadcast
at full-size.
When you receive the command
"MCV CANCEL," the system returns
to the previous mode.
* One of the commands that is sent to
the MCU from the slave terminal.

Checking the Connection Status

Press the MENU button on the
Remote Commander.
The Menu (System Configuration)
menu appears on the monitor
screen.

Check the communication status:
The column A indicates the status
via the ISDN A jack; B indicates
via the ISDN B jack; C indicates
via the ISDN C jack. And the
column ENCODE indicates the
status being sent, the columns
DECODE indicate the status
being received.
LINE I/F: Displays the line
interface being used.
ISDN RATE: Displays the
number of lines and the
transfer rate being used.
AUDIO MODE: Displays the
audio encoding system.
VIDEO MODE: Displays the
video encoding system.
FRAME RATE: Displays the
maximum rate of the motion
picture.
Press the CANCEL button on the
Remote Commander twice.
The menu disappears from the
monitor screen.
