Lock your Chromebook

Lock your Chromebook to a desk, table, or other fixtures through a compatible security cable lock.

Use the fingerprint reader (for selected models)

If your Chromebook comes with a fingerprint reader, you can use the fingerprint reader to enroll your
fingerprints. After enrollment, you can tap your finger on the fingerprint reader to log in to Chromebook.
Enroll your fingerprints
1. Click the setting icon in the system tray.
2. Select People ➙ Security and sign-in.
3. Enter your password.
4. Click Set up and then click Add Fingerprint.
5. Follow the on-screen instructions to finish the enrollment.
6. Click the lock icon in the system tray.
