Warning!

the connections or are unsure during one of these

Caution!
•
Be sure the cable lugs are screwed in place tight.
•
Regularly check the connections. Loose cables
can quickly become hot and the insulation can
melt or become damaged.

Preparation

Clean the work area. Remove any dirt (e.g. battery
fluid, oil or silicone-based deposits).

Connecting The Battery Monitor

Please note the correct polarity when connecting:
•
red cable: Positive battery terminal
•
black cable: Negative battery terminal
1. Loosen the nut and washer.
2. Attach the cable lug (3) of the positive cable to
the positive terminal on the battery.
3. Secure the cable lug with the washer and nut.
Repeat these steps to connect the negative cable to
the negative terminal.
4. Secure the housing of the Battery Monitor using
the hook-and-loop fastener (5 - included).
