General Information on Messages

18 (E)
Messages from the Flexicart appear in the display window of the display
panel. These messages show the current status of the Flexicart or errors
that have occurred in the Flexicart, as follows:
The current status of the Flexicart is shown by a message that blinks or is
steadily lit (such as "IN USE"). A blinking message warns you of
misoperation or indicates that a subsequent operation is required. A
steadily-lit message indicates that the Flexicart is operating normally or is
in a particular mode (such as test mode).
Error messages have the following format:
Device type
The device type indicates where an error or problem has occurred. The
error code indicates the kind of error that occurred.
For example, message "ELV-0011" indicates that the elevator is not
connected to the Flexicart. In the message, "ELV" represents the elevator
and "0011" tells us that the problem relates to communication between the
Flexicart and the elevator.
