Ventilation • To prevent the risk of electric shock or fire hazard due to overheating, ensure that curtains and other materials do not obstruct the ventilation vents.
  • Page 7 Built-in Battery Care • Your product is powered by a rechargeable battery. • The battery can be charged and discharged hundreds of times, but will eventually wear out. • Unplug the charger from the electrical plug and the product when not in use. • Do not leave a fully charged battery connected to a charger, since overcharging may shorten its lifetime.

    Charging the Speaker The unit has a built-in rechargeable battery, which should be charged before using the speaker for the first time. The battery is charged automatically whenever the unit is connected to a computer or a USB charging device. • Micro-USB socket is for charging the unit only.

    • Use the supplied micro-USB cable only, and connect directly to a computer. Charging will not be completed properly by an indirect connection, such as via a USB hub. • If the unit is not used for a long time, the battery indicator may not light up when you connect the micro-USB cable to charge the unit. In this case, do not disconnect the micro-USB cable from the unit and wait until the battery indicator will start flashing red.

    Connection Using the AUX Connection Use the supplied 3.5mm to 3.5mm stereo audio cable to connect the headphone socket of an audio device and the AUX socket of the unit. Activate your Bluetooth® device and select the search mode. “SP-AD70-A” or “SP-AD70-B” will appear on your Bluetooth® device list. 2.     3. To disconnect the Bluetooth® function, press and hold button to disable the function from your Bluetooth® device. The Bluetooth® device will be disconnected from the unit after the “Waiting for a connection” voice prompt. • Connect the stereo audio cable to disable Bluetooth® mode. • You can enjoy music wirelessly from a smartphone, mobile phone, or music player.
