Magic Beam Mode
It is possible for this unit to communicate with the following CASIO units: JD-5500, JD-6000, JD-
6000A, JD-7000, and JD-7000R using infrared light, without direct cable communication.

Things to check for if you are having problems with Magic Beam
• If battery power is weak, you have to move the two units closer together.
• If the two units are at an angle of more than 20 degrees from each other, you have to move them closer
together.
• If an object is blocking the path between the two units, communication will be impossible.
• Outdoors, near a window, or in other brightly lit areas, you may have to move the two units closer together
or you may not be able to send data at all.
• If there is a third unit nearby, communication may be impossible.
