Avoid driving with snow chains on roads
that have been cleared of snow, to avoid
damaging your vehicle's tyres and the
road surface. If your vehicle is fitted with
alloy wheels, check that no part of the
chain or its fixings is in contact with the
wheel rim.
Use only the chains designed to be fitted to the
type of wheel fitted to your vehicle:
Original tyre size
Maximum link size
175/55 R15
9 mm
cannot be fitted with
145/65 R15
chains

Bonnet

Protects and provides access to the front
compartment components for checking various
fluid levels, charging the ancillaries battery,
changing fuses, etc.
Opening
F Open the right-hand front door.
F Pull the interior bonnet release lever A
located at the bottom of the door frame.
F Push the exterior safety catch B to the left
and raise the bonnet.

Practical information
F Fully raise the bonnet and pull the support
stay C located on the right-hand side out of
its housing.
F Insert the support stay C into one of the two
support slots to hold the bonnet open.
The location of the interior bonnet release
lever prevents opening of the bonnet if the
right-hand front door is closed.
