Turn on your TV progressive scan mode ( refer
to your TV's user manual ).

the menu and press OK

start to enjoy the high quality picture.

Setting the screen saver

If Screen Saver set to On, the screen saver will be
activated when you leave the system in stop or
pause mode for 5 minutes. The default setting is
"On".

DivX (R) VOD Code

Philips provide you the DivX(R) VOD (Video On
Demand) registration code that allows you to
rent or purchase videos from the DivX(R) VOD
service at www.divx.com/vod.
Read and follow the instruction shown on the TV
and download the video onto a CD-R for
playback on this system.
Helpful Hint:
- All the download videos DivX(R) VOD can only be
played back on this system.
DVD Menu Operations

Night mode - turning on/off

Off
Select this when you want to enjoy the surround
sound with its full dynamic range.
On
Select this to level out the volume. High volume
output will be softened and low volume output
will be brought upward to an audible level. This
feature is only available for movies with Dolby
Digital mode.

Changing the password

You can change the six-digit code used as
Password.

In DISC / USB stop mode, press SYSTEM
MENU key on the remote control.

Press 1 / ¡ / 5 / 4 on the remote
control to navigate in the menu.

Move to"Preference Page" and press 4.
➜ Move to "Password" and press ¡.
➜
Press OK.
