SEARCH TERMINATED AND BASIC FUNCTIONS READY TO PROVIDE
D NUMBERS TO R PARAMETERS R101 TO R109
For magazines which are turrets only.
After completion of the tool search the basic function is ready for providing the D No. This
applies to both the block search and normal operation.
Precondition for normal operation: (No block search)
Only the D No. of those tools found in the assigned magazine are provided. As a prerequisite,
however, machine data bit MD 7011.1 must be set. Since the tool search is terminated by that
time, positioning of the turret can be initiated by this signal ( turret positioning in parallel with
provision of D numbers).
Precondition for block search: MD 7011.2=0!
The tool must be found in the assigned magazine, in one of the chained magazines or in a tool
buffer. That is, the D No. are immediately provided in a block search if the magazine is equal
to a turret. Both in normal operation and in a block search, the signal is acknowledged by
"Process terminated" (D 70.0=1).
"0" signal: The basic function is not ready to provide D No. This may have the following
causes:
– No block search for magazines which are not turrets,
– The MD machine data bit 7011.2 is set for magazines which are turrets and for
block search,
– The machine data bit MD 7011.1 is not set for magazines which are turrets,
– The tool has not been found (D 71.0=1).
ERROR
"1" signal: An error was detected during the tool search or during execution of a user
command. The cause of the error (error number) is entered in DL 70. If an error
has occurred, the current job is aborted and the process terminated (D 70.0=1).
The signal is set for the duration of a PLC cycle.
"0" signal: No error has been found.
