Charging the Phone and the Battery
If the phone is turned off, the screen displays the message "Battery Charging." When the battery
is fully charged, the "Charging Complete" message is displayed, as shown in Figure 3.

If the phone is turned on, the battery indicator bar blinks, displaying the current power level.
When the battery is fully charged, the battery indicator bar stops blinking.
3. When the battery is fully charged, disconnect the charger from the phone, and unplug the power
cord from the AC wall outlet.
• The standard battery requires about 3.5 hours to become fully charged and provides up
to 3.5 hours of talk time or 21 hours of standby time.
• The extended battery provides up to 4.25 hours of talk time or 30 hours of standby time.
The battery becomes fully charged in about 4.5 hours. For more information about
