SAVE THESE INSTRUCTIONS POLARIZED PLUG This appliance has a polarized plug (one blade is wider than the other). As a safety feature, this plug will fit into a polarized outlet only one way. If the plug does not fit fully into the outlet, reverse the plug.

Before shipping or mailing your iron, empty all water from the iron. Plug in the cord and heat the iron at setting 7 for a few minutes. Iron continu- ously over an all cotton cloth for about 2-3 minutes. Place the iron on its heel rest and leave it operating for 7 to 8 minutes.

NOTE: Be sure to aim the spout of the cup into the slot of the Water Fill Hole and fully close the Cover. If water spills over the Fill Hole, set the iron on its Heel Rest, plug in, and heat for 1-2 minutes to dry. Refill as needed.
