- The maximum temperature occurs just after
heating up. The actual temperature during use may
be lower.
- Only use the appliance on dry hair.
Do not operate the appliance with wet hands.
- It is not recommended to use the appliance on
artificial hair. If you want to use the appliance on
artificial hair, always consult the distributor of the
artificial hair.
- Do not leave the plates in your hair for more than
few seconds at a time as this may cause damage to
your hair.
- Always unplug the appliance after use.
- Do not wind the mains cord round the appliance
and avoid it from coming into contact with hot
parts of the appliance.
- Keep the heating plates clean and free of dust
and styling products such as mousse, spray and
gel. Never use the appliance in combination with
styling products.
- The straightener heating plates have a coating.
This coating may wear away slowly over time.
This does not affect the performance of the
appliance.
- Wait until the appliance has cooled down before
you attach or detach the Care Infusion Covers.
- Wait until the appliance has cooled down before
you store it.
- If you use the appliance on colour-treated hair,
the heating plates may become stained.
- Do not insert metal objects into openings to avoid
electric shock.
- Do not use metallic or sharp objects to remove
the Care Infusion Covers.
- Do not use the appliance for any other purpose
than described in this manual.
- If the Care Infusion Covers are damaged or broken,
replace with new covers.
