How to Use

This unit is for household use only.

GEttING St RtEd

1. Remove all packing material and any stickers from the product.
2. This product has no removable parts.
3. Wash all parts as instructed in Care and Cleaning section of this manual.
4. Select a level surface where this unit is to be used allowing enough space for
steam to escape without damage to counters, cabinets and walls.

5. Fill kettle with 2 cups of cold tap water and 1 cup of vinegar. Bring to boil and
discard.
6. Fill kettle to maximum fill line with cold tap water. Bring to boil and discard.
Repeat. Kettle is now ready for use.
Note: The kettle will only operate when placed on the power base with the "on/
off" (I/o) switch in the "on" (I) position. The kettle will automatically switch
"off" (o) once the water has boiled. lso, the kettle will automatically shut off if
there is no water in the kettle.

1. Remove the kettle from the power base and remove the
lid. Fill with desired amount of cold tap water (from 3 to
7 ½ cups) through the opening at the top or fill directly
through the pour spout (B).
Note: do not:
• operate the kettle without water.
• overfill the kettle; keep water level below the maximum
mark on the fill window.
• remove the lid while water is heating.
2. Replace the lid and place the kettle firmly on the
360° swivel power base (C).
BoILING W tER
1. Plug in the base.
2. Press the "On/Off" (I/O) switch to "On" (I). The power
light comes on and the water begins to heat (d).
3. When water boils the kettle will automatically shut off and
the indicator light will go out. You can turn the appliance
off at any time by pressing the "On/Off" (I/O) switch to
"Off" (O).
