Introduction NKN6498
The NKN6498 Headset Adapter Cable is an accessory for Motorola portable
two-way radios. Also available is an NMN1020, which combines the
NKN6498 and an NMN6050. The adapter cable, used in conjunction with
Accessory Adapter BDN6676 (a 3.5mm connector), allows a Safety Helmet
Headset (NMN6050) to be used with HT 1000, JT 1000, MT 2000, MTS 2000,
or MTX Series radios.
Description
The NKN6498 Headset Adapter Cable, with BDN6676 Accessory Adapter,
includes a push-to-talk (PTT) switch, a microphone amplifier circuit, and a
bayonet-type socket for connection to the headset. The BDN6676 provides

Attach the BDN6676 accessory adapter to the radio external acces- sory connector.
