5. TROUBLE SHOOTING
Precautions
Your washing machine has been
manufactured solely for domestic use.
As a safety measure, it has a built-in
electronic protection system which works
by stopping the drum when the washing
machine lid is open, regardless of the
washing cycle it is using. If this safety
system does not work immediately turn
off the washing machine and call the
technical service.
If, during the spin cycle, the washing drum
does not stop 15 seconds after opening
the lid, immediately switch off the
washing machine and call the technical
service.
Do not put your hands into the washing
machine while it is working.
Wait till it stops.
Do not leave detergents in places where
children can reach them.
Inflammable liquids (dry cleaning solvents,
kerosene, gasoline or others) must not be
placed or used in the washing machine.
Do not add any inflammable liquids to
the water in the washing machine. These
substances give off vapour which may
cause fires or dangerous explosions.
Do not use the control panel in the wrong
way.
Only allow qualified people to install, repair
or change units on your washing machine.
Keep the washing machine in optimum
conditions.
Protect the washing machine from
the weather and keep it in a moderate
temperature.
Do not install the washing machine in a
place which is too damp as this may lead
to short circuits.
Do not use abrasive detergents to clean
the glass.
Connect the washing machine to an
appropriate power source.
Place the washing machine on a flat
surface.
Do not wash laundry stained with
vegetable or cooking oil since this may
remain after the wash cycle, making the
fabric smoky and capable of catching fire
itself.
Do not use chlorine, ammonia or acids
(such as vinegar or rust removers) in the
same wash. They may give off gases or
dangerous vapours.
Do not install your washing machine
under water heaters or any other item
that generates heat or flames, as this may
cause damage to the plastic parts.
This washing machine is not intended to
be used by persons (including children)
whose physical, sensory or mental
capabilities are not fully developed, or
who lack experience or knowledge, unless
they are supervised or have had training
about using the appliance from a person
responsible for their safety.
Children must be supervised to make
sure they do not play with the washing
machine.
Important note:
Do not wash glass fibre materials
because any remaining small
particles may contaminate the
clothing in subsequent loads and
cause skin irritation. Do not use
as this may distort plastic units. Do
not spray water onto the control
panel or onto the rear cover of the
washing machine. This may cause
a fire or a short circuit.
