Chapter 2 gives an overview of the router's hardware and software features, describes its appearance and the package contents. Chapter 3 explains how to install the router DIR-878 and configure a PC in order to access its web- based interface.

You are able to connect the wireless router DIR-878 to a cable or DSL modem or to a private Ethernet line and use a high-speed Internet connection to successfully fulfill a wide range of professional tasks.
Page 7 (the interface is available in two languages – in Russian and in English). The configuration wizard allows you to quickly switch DIR-878 to one of the following modes: router (for connection to a wired or wireless ISP), access point, repeater, or client, and then configure all needed setting for operation in the selected mode in several simple steps.
