Trace
When creating a test instance, a trace can be activated, which documents the signal
characteristic of the signals that are relevant for the particular test case.
The trace is parameterized using the standard SINUMERIK Operate function and saved as
trace template (XML file).
The trace template must be available in directory ...\safety\atw\trace so that the trace template
can be selected for a particular test case.

Note
Default path for the trace template: ...\user\sinumerik\hmi\data\trace
Axis-specific trace variables
If axis-specific variables are contained in the trace, a safety-related axis can be selected before
recording the trace data. The data associated with this axis are marked in the trace, even if a
different axis was parameterized in the trace file.
If an axis is not selected for the test case, then the data of the axis parameterized in the trace
template are recorded.
